The idea that these types of shows are proliferating even though competely fraudulent bothers me to no end. I guess it's just me.

No, it's not just you. I also find that irritating and somewhat creepy. Although I don't believe in ghosts by the light of day, when it's dark, late at night and I hear a weird noise, well, the last thing I need is some show to get my imagination working.
Anyway, I read some interesting articles that indicate that a lot of "haunted houses" are due to carbon monoxide poisoning, which causes visual and auditory hallucinations. Of course, now I'm worried that I'll get carbon monoxide poisoning and won't know until I see a "ghost", which will kill me by giving me a heart attack.
I sometimes went over to next door neighbor to watch TV as a little guy, and I was scared to death when it got dark. I handled that by sprinting as fast as I could back to my house. Russell and Forrest figured it out and would hide in the bushes and spring out and yell at me. Scarred for life!
I guess we will find out whether or not I should be blogging. But here goes; I really can get going on some of these things, so we'll put it out there and see if we get yawns, catcalls, or maybe some responses.

That's the Louise I know.
Did I ever tell you how my brothers used to try to scare me?
No! You should post that! Dad tells lots of stories about you -- I would like to hear some about the mean older brothers. :)

Russell was the worst.
