I find the coin/dollar bill discussion interesting. Having used dollar and $2 coins for the past year, I can honestly say I don't really have a preference. The coins don't wear out as much, and they don't stuff your billfold, but they do get heavy and take up room in your coinpurse. They are a bit easier to feed into machines, too. I think what it boils down to is that Americans won't change unless they have to.
I guess we will find out whether or not I should be blogging. But here goes; I really can get going on some of these things, so we'll put it out there and see if we get yawns, catcalls, or maybe some responses.
