Do you have an authoritative answer? I would guess introduction of TV to US/Europe/SA/India or perhaps introduction of family size restrictions in China?
I guess we will find out whether or not I should be blogging. But here goes; I really can get going on some of these things, so we'll put it out there and see if we get yawns, catcalls, or maybe some responses.

can't be sure if answer I got is authoritative, but is believable. Someone must know
I was going to guess china's one child policy as well.
